My favorite way to enjoy Camp 4 Coffee is to make Sledgehammer in the French Press while camping and watching the sunrise!
It’s particularly enjoyable to sit out here on the patio, in the morning sunlight, following a few days of rainy weather. Camp 4 Coffee’s Art Of Darkness makes the experience so much more enjoyable!
Favorite is good old Sledgehammer . I had an air tanker pilot turns us to it. We do Aerial Firefighting and any pilot that comes from CO to us we demand the sledgehammer. We like best made with an aero press.
SledgeHammer lives up to its name with its intense aroma and caffeine kick. But the beauty of this blend is in its wonderful aromatic tones and caramel and pecan hints of the kind typically associated to the world’s best traditional Italian roasts. Next best thing to drinking espresso in Italy, is sippin’ some SledgeHammer! My photo was taken last month after brewing up some Sledge.
I like my Camp4Coffee in my dog bowl with Cake on the side. My post is really a test post, but I received a comment, so I get to STAY…sit…rollover… 🙂
Favorite Blend: I like mixing Sledgehammer and Luna Vista Decaf. Yum! I make Soy Mochas with the shots on top!
I discovered Camp4 when we came to Crested Butte over News Years. I had a mocha with toltec chocolate – soooo good! I loved the quaint license-plate covered shop off Elk St and had my husband take a picture of me with my westie, Ella Roo, in front. I am so glad that I did, because she passed shortly after that, but I can always enjoy that last picture (its my facebook pic).
Now I live in Crested Butte (4+ years) and enjoy Camp4Coffee every day. I also do the website, so I am definitely a die-hard C4 addict!
Camp4Coffee is glad to be a sponsor of the Park to Peak to Pint Race. This will be burly.
What? Another event this weekend? Yep. Camp4Coffee is glad to be a goodie bag sponsor for this badass race to Aspen from Crested Butte. In addition to a packet of fresh ground coffee, we will be up at 4am to make an urn of hot coffee for the start. Go Cb Nordic, Go Grand Traverse runners. This town is great.
Well it is the best moose picture I ever shot. Those dang moose are elusive. We have heard about moose in Cement Creek for years. My neighbor got an evening shot that could be mistaken for a chupacabra.
But these guys were out in the early evening. Hanging with the horses. Long, gangly legs flopping as they meandered away from our position like shiftless teenagers looking for fun.
Hooray for the reintroduction of Moose to the Rockies. Now we have lions, deer, elk, bears, moose, coyotes, wolves, badgers, eagles, hawks and grouse and ……raccoon, porcupines, ferrets, ermine, beavers, rabbits, hares, fox, bobcat…
It took awhile-years really. But the user and shipper-friendly sample program is working. I just filled a bunch of sample requests today. If you enjoy Camp4Coffee, you may know others stranded in a “Coffee Desert” who would enjoy becoming familiar with a great cup of Joe.
You will see an email soon that includes a ‘Link” for “Send a Friend Camp4”. Click it, fill in your friends address, add a note if you like, and we will get it on the way. This is an easy way to poke your coffee-loving friends, expose them to quality beans and help us grow our shipping program. With luck, we will double this year.
Thank you for your help exercising the new site and the old warehouse guys. This is fun.
